The event targets potential applicants to the 2018 calls for project proposals under the Horizon 2020 Challenge 5 "Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials".
Organisers aim to ensure participation of all individuals who wish to attend the event. However, organisers will seek to achieve a proportional share of participants from different countries and organisations. You are kindly requested to limit participation to maximum two people per organisation.
Please note, that if you do not collect your badge within one hour after the start of the conference, your seat for that day may be given to another participant.
Only one email address per participant can be registered in the system.
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners to judge a possible future collaboration. People meet and greet at high speed. A few minutes are usually enough to build connections, then the bell rings and the next meeting starts.
REGISTRATION
During the registration you can indicate if and when you are available for bilateral meetings. This determines up to how many meetings you can manage later on.PROFILE SETUP
Next you create your own profile. The better the quality of your profile the more and qualified meeting requests you can expect and the higher the chance that the meetings will have an impact.REQUEST MEETINGS
Browse the other participants send meetings requests to those companies you would like to meet at the event. Meeting requests that are accepted are scheduled on fixed time-slots and tables prior to the event.
BUILD CONNECTIONS
A few days prior to the event you will receive an email with your meetings schedule showing who you will meet, what time, and the table number where the meeting will take place.

The welcome & registration desk is located at the entrance area of the Charlemagne building and it will be operational from 08:00 am until 05:00 pm each day.
Please note that all participants will have to pass through security check before entering the rooms. Please take this into account and arrive in advance onsite (at least 30 min).
There is a Wi-Fi Internet connection for all participants at the venue. Please ask the staff onsite for the password.
On each floor, next to the rooms there are unattended cloakrooms available. We therefore strongly advise you to leave your luggage at the hotel.
Participants must make their own way from the airport to the event venue. Organisers will not reimburse any transportation costs for your stay in Brussels. Therefore, we strongly advise you to use public transportation.
