Information Days on the Horizon 2020

Societal Challenge 5

"Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency & Raw Materials" - 2018 Calls

The event targets potential applicants to the 2018 calls for project proposals under the Horizon 2020 Challenge 5 "Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials".

REGISTRATION

Organisers aim to ensure participation of all individuals who wish to attend the event. However, organisers will seek to achieve a proportional share of participants from different countries and organisations. You are kindly requested to limit participation to maximum two people per organisation.

Please note, that if you do not collect your badge within one hour after the start of the conference, your seat for that day may be given to another participant.

Only one email address per participant can be registered in the system.

MATCHMAKING

You are invited to join the bilateral pre-arranged meetings and present your interests in certain topics, your expertise on specific matters and/or your project ideas to possible project partners.

How does the matchmaking works?

A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners to judge a possible future collaboration. People meet and greet at high speed.  A few minutes are usually enough to build connections, then the bell rings and the next meeting starts.

1

REGISTRATION

During the registration you can indicate if and when you are available for bilateral meetings. This determines up to how many meetings you can manage later on.

2

PROFILE SETUP

Next you create your own profile. The better the quality of your profile the more and qualified meeting requests you can expect and the higher the chance that the meetings will have an impact.

3

REQUEST MEETINGS

Browse the other participants send meetings requests to those companies you would like to meet at the event. Meeting requests that are accepted are scheduled on fixed time-slots and tables prior to the event.

4

BUILD CONNECTIONS

A few days prior to the event you will receive an email with your meetings schedule showing who you will meet, what time, and the table number where the meeting will take place.
